The Lucas County Auditor's records listed the construction year of 2560 Glenwood as 1913 on lot 129 of the Baldwin Heights Addition. Contractor Mano S Ramseyer built this home for Louis Comlossy at a cost of $3,500. Louis Comlossy, a jeweler at 613 Madsion Avenue,.was listed as the occupant of this house in both 1918 and 1921. A garage was constructed in 1919 at a cost of $200. Ralph Comlossy, a jeweler, roomed in this home. Jessie Comlossy was a music teacher who worked at 321.5 Huron Street. Alice, Arthur, Howard, George and Frank Comlossy also roomed here. William Gardiner, an agent with the New York Life Insurance Company, and his wife Marcella were the residents in 1935. Mr. Gardiner's biography appeared in Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol. 3 on page 52. Their daughter was Joyce Gardiner.
