This was a 1902 view of the mansion at 2275 Ashland Avenue, now razed.  The 1891 Polk City Directory listed William Hardee as the resient of this home.  His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 202 along with his photograph.  His wife was Adelaide (Nessle) Hardee.  Gitta Nessle, the widow of John Nessle and the mother-in-law of William Hardee, also appeared as a resident.
