This house at 2313 Ashland Avenue stood approximately where the old AAA building, now the Girl Scouts, stands.  The 1900 Polk City Directory listed Mary Law as the resident of this mansion.  She was the principal of the Froebel Kindergarten Training School located here. Ms. Law's biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 565.  Edwin Law, a travel agent (salesman) boarded here in 1900 along with Cora and Emma Law.  Robert Law, Mary's grandfather boarded here  in 1910.  Grace Wilson was the live-in domestic in 1910.
