Here is an early view of 324 Batavia.  German-born photographer Fred Trost live here in 1891 according to the city directory of that same year.  His studio was located at 328 Summit according to both the 1900 and the 1910 Polk city directories.  Marie Trost was his 45 year old wife and their children included Carl Trost, age 14, and Dorithy Trost, age 4, in 1900.
