619 Chatham Court was home to Walter Oberlin, a saleman, in 1918 while Samuel Dempesy lived here in 1921.  Mr. Dempsey was the president and treasurer of the Dempsey-McMann Optical Company.  Mr. Dempsey and his wife Jessie Dempsey had moved by 1924 and the house was listed as vacant in the 1924 city directory.
