The 1918 and 1921 city directories listed William Schomburg as the resident of 635 Collins.  Mr. Schomburg was the production engineer for the Toledo Machine & Tool Company.  Anna Murphy, the widow of D. W. Murphy, also lived here.  The 1924 and 1935 directory listed William Comte, the president of the Comte-Naumann Company, building contractors.  His wife was Anna (Ochs) Comte.
