535 Colonial Court was home to Robert Taylor and his wife Anna (Willis) Taylor in 1921.  Mr. Taylor was the president, treasurer and general manager of the Home Fuel & Supply Company.  His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 295.  Robert and Anna had a child by the name of Carolyn Taylor.  The family remained in the home according to the 1924 city directory.  Mrs. Taylor was the daughter of long-time Toledo resident Robert Willis who passed in 1923.  Mr. Taylor was a victim of a crime in August 1925 when a gunman fired at him but he escaped to his home unharmed.
