According to the July 22, 1932 issue of the Toledo News-Bee, Mrs. Luna Nebgen of 832 Nesslewood discovered the victim Robert Nichols, 27, who had been slugged walking by her home.  The home at 832 Nesslewood had been the resident of John DeWitt in 1910 and Jay DeWitt in 1918.  T. B. Clever and R. T. Pooley lived here in 1924.
