2734 Parkwood Avenue near Collins Street resembles 2720 Glenwood in appearance.  1902 was the construction year for this house according to the Lucas County Auditor's records.  The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Harry Gilger, a traveling agent (salesman) with Root & McBride Company.  Both the 1918 and 1921 listed Rudolph Hockenberger, a salesman, as the resident.  Margaret Hockenberger roomed here.
