Built in 1897, the house at 2150 Parkwood was home to William Cratz according to the 1900 Polk City Directory.  Mr. Cratz, with the Cratz Brothers who were seed merchants, died in March of 1917.  His biography and photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 668.  His wife was Lydia (Wyss) Cratz.  His mother Drusilla (Ream) Cratz, the widow of Jacob Cratz, boarded here in 1910.
