The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Gustav Muhme, a chiropodist and manicurist whose business was located at 415 Summit, as the resident of 2551 Parkwood.  His son, Otto Muhme, who boarded here in 1910 became a physician while Florence Muhme was listed in the 1910, 1918 and the 1921 city directories as rooming here.
