2737 Parkwood was home to William McIntyre, the manager of the United Motor Toledo Company, in 1911 and 1912.  The 1918 and 1921 city directories listed William Bettis whose occupation was lecturer. The 1918 directory listed soldier V. Lionel Bettis as rooming here.  The 1921 directory also listed Leslie Bettis, a salesman with Barger Mitchell Motor Company, as a roomer.  Also, in 1921, O.C.Grant Brettell was an occupant of this house.  Mr. Brettell was the manager of the Standard Sanitary Manufacturing Company.  Donald Brettell roomed here in 1921.  Donald was a salesman at his father's company.  Richard Brettell was a cashier.
