The Lucas County Auditor's records listed the construction year for 2839 Parkwood as 1913.  Warren Griffith was listed in 1918 and 1921 as the resident of this house by the Polk city directories.  Mr. Griffith became the president of the Landman-Griffith Company.  His biography appeared in Maumee Valley, Toledo and the Sandusky Region Vol. 3 on page 90.  His wife was Gertrude (Dexter) Griffith.  Their sons were Dexter Griffith and Stebbins Griffith.
