2229 Parkwood was designed in the 1910s by local architect George B. Rheinfrank and became home to Charles Breymann according to both the1918 and 1921 city directories.  Mr. Breymann's biography and personal photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 640.  His wife was May (Stevens) Breymann.  Charles Breymann roomed here in 1921.  1934 saw the rear deck enclosed (#3206).
