This two-family home was built in 1924 according to the Lucas County Auditor's records.  Arthur and Ida Harbauer and George B. Storer Jr. lived here in 1925.  Mr Harbauer was the president of a condiment manufacturing company, while Mr. Storer was president of the Standard Steel Tube Comapany.  The 1928 Polk City Directory listed Edward and Isabel Komarek and Frederick and Edna Riebel Jr. as occupants zt 2503 Parkwood.  The Riebels' son, Frederick III roomed here.
