The February 14, 1914 edition of the Toledo News Bee posted an advertisement for homes along Georgia Avenue, now Arcadia Avenue, for $500 down and the balance in monthly payments.  The E H Close Realty Company included a photograph of 3152 Parkwood and a portion of the homes along Georgia Avenue toward Collingwood Avenue.  "The homes, just finished, have three to four bedrooms each and are strictly modern, with all hardwood floors and finish and every city convenience."
