The Edson Baumgardner Mansion, 2015 Parkwood Avenue, is seen in this postcard view of Parkwood , looking north from Woodruff Street.  The mansion was built in 1884 for the sum of $10,000 and designed by architect Aurthur Burnside Sturges.  Mr. Baumgardner's biography can be read in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 338.  He passed away on April 5, 1920.
