Architect Norval Bacon of Bacon & Huber designed and owned this mansion at 2115 Parkwood Avenue.  It was built in 1895 and demolished in 1964.  The Bacons' employed Sophia Boldt as their live-in domestic according to the 1896 Polk City Directory, while the 1900 directory revealed that Mary Deemer served the family in that capacity.   Jack Taylor donated this image from circa 1914.
