This circa 1937 photograph shows the extensively remodeled house at 2243 Robinwood. The new owner was George Storer Jr., president and treasurer of the Standard Steel Tube Company. His biography can be read in Toledo & Lucas County Supplement on page 219. By 1921, his wife Mabel is a widow. Around 1920 George Storer commissioned the architectural firm of David L. Stine and Son to execute architectural drawings for a wholesale remodeling of the original residence. Window gratings were designed by H.B. Milmine and Company, a metal fabricating company in Toledo. In 1947, kitchen plans were drawn by architect Wilfred Holtzman for C. J. Wilcox. | |||||
