2314 Robinwood, built in 1892, was home to Alexander Arnold, a contractor, according to the 1900, 1910, 1918 and 1921 Polk city directories. The 1910 city directory listed Martha Arnold as a student who boarded in her parents' home. In later years, a Mr. Haughton requested A.Bentley and Sons Company to develop architectural drawing for the alteration to the original construction. Included in these drawings were detailed plans for a staircase and bookcase. | |||||
