Early residents of 2856 Robinwood were members of the Theodore Gleason family.  Mr. Gleason was with the Bradstreet Company in 1911.  The 1912 Polk City Directory listed the Margaret Tobin as the resident along with her children.  Neil Tobin lived here in 1918 according to the city directory.  Katherine Tobin and Eleanor Tobin, both public school teachers, roomed here as listed in the 1912, 1918 and 1921 city directories.  Margaret Tobin, a nurse, worked out of this home in 1921.
