2465 Scottwood in 1907 and '10 was the home of Gustavus Gessner Jr. and Mary (Booth) Gressner. Mr. Gessner was a civil engineer with the Riggs & Sherman Company. His biography and personal photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 228. The 1910 Polk City Directory also listed Lizzie Saari as the live-in domestic. By 1918, physician Edwin Tucker who limited his practice to the diseases of the skin was the resident. | |||||
