2742 Scottwood was still a vacant property according to the 1912 Polk City Directory.  The house constructed on its sie became home to Gertrude Malone by 1918.  Louis Malone, a soldier, roomed as well as Raymond, also a soldier.  The 1921 Polk City Directory listed Halvor Hem, an engineer.
