2531 Scottwood was home to George Palmer in 1911.  Mr. Palmer was with Williams & Palmer which dealt in real estate, loans and inverstments.  C. B. Ward was a later occupant according to both the 1918 and 1921 Polk city directories.  He was the manager for the Toledo Agency of the Burroughs Adding Machine Company which had a store in the Spitzer Arcade.
