2853 Scottwood was the home of Victor Rousseau, a travel agent (salesman) according to the 1912 city directory.  Both the 1918 and the 1921 Polk city directories listed John Kuisel, a lithographer, as the resident of 2853 Scottwood Avenue.  John Kuisel Jr. was listed both times as a roomer.  The 1911 direcoty had a lsting for 2855 Scottwood with the resident being Frank Seaman.
