This was the Ellen Flower Deaconess Home on the east side of Collingwood at Hatchett.  Originally, it was the home of Benjamin Mallet.  At Mrs. Flower's death, the house and two acres between Collingwood and Cherry were given as the site for the Deaconess Home.  Late, a larger building known as Flower Hospital was built facing Cherry Street.
