Amos W Crane who passed away in March 1910 at the age of 73 was the owner of Amos W Crane & Co. His widow Emma continued to run the company after his death with the help of family. As market gardeners, they provided fresh produce for the growing East Side. The family home and business was located at 2201 Miami Street.
