2114 Shenandoah Road was the home of the Daniel Holzemer family.  Mr. Holzemer commissioned the Carl E. Mehring Company to design and build his Westmoreland home.  A company brochure stated that "the advantage of having plans prepared by the same organization that builds your home is evidenced by the finished product".
