2714 Collingwood was constructed in 1923 by the Falardeau Company at a cost of $7000.  There was some type of alteration in 1924 for the sum of $280.  The 1928 and 1929 Polk city directories listed physician Harve Young as the resident of this home.  Dr. Young's wife was Bertha Young.  The Youngs still lived here during the 1930 Census.
