The 1896 Polk City Directory listed Samuel Schoenfeld and Henry Streetman of the Alexander Black & Co. as the residents. Their live-in domestics that year were Anna Bogenhardt and Grace Davison while in 1900 Grace Patterson was employed as a domestic for the house. By 1910, Mr. Schoenfeld was the president of the American Metal Wheel & Auto Comapany with Anna Hildebrand as the live-in domestic. Melville Taft who was in real estate was the occupant by the time of the 1921 directory. | |||||
