2420 Glenwood was known as "Glenwood Court"  to many families since its construction before 1910.    In 1918 Daisy Semple and Margaret Semple, public school teachers, roomed in H #1 with their mother Katherine, the widow of James Semple; Charles Hess in H #2; Charles Patterson in H #3; Cyrus Winters in H # 4 who lived here since 1912;  Robert Russell in H #5; Thomas Garrigan in H #6; Remi Lamoreaux in H #7.
