2417 Glenwood was home to William Thoms according to the 1910 Polk City Directory.  He was the comercial agent for the Michigan Central Railroad Company.  The 1918 directory listed Judd Richardson, whose office in the Spitzer Building specialized in fire insurance, real estate and loans. By his listing in the 1921 directory, Mr. Judd was president and treasurer of the Judd Richardson Company which sold insurance.  His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 489.
