The 1910 Polk City Directory listed Wallace Amsden as the occupant of 2631 Parkwood.  Mr. Amsden was the travel feight agent with the L S & M S Railroad.  Alice Amsden, the widow of Abram Amsden, roomed here in 1910 along with boarder Eugenia Amsden.   In 1918 Francis Whitmore, a bookkeeper,  lived here.  George Blue, the secretary of the Motor Finance Corporation, was the resident in 1921.  Also, in 1921, Eugnea Whitmore roomed here.  The May 20, 1931 issue of the Toledo News-Bee featured a photograph of Scott High School senior Martha Whitmore sitting in a car with three other Scott girls.
