The 1896 Polk City Directory listed Ezra Kirk as the resident of 2263 Robinwood with John Bush, a colored man serving as his coachman.  Mr. Kirk's biography and photograph appeared in Memoirs of Lucas County and the City of Toledo on page 41. By the publication of the 1910 city directory, Charles Sternberger lived in this home.  Both the 1918 and 1921 directories listed his widow Mary Sternberger as still living here.  Emma Washington was a domestic for this home in 1900, while Sarah Bibb was employed in that position according to the 1910 city directory.
