Benjamin F Laird, a contractor, built 2643 Robinwood in 1908 at a cost of $3500. The 1911 Polk City Directory listed C. Emil Christen as the resident of the home at 2643 Robinwood. Mr. Christen was a clerk with the post office. Margaret Christen boarded here and was a music teacher who offered lessons in the home. Offered for sale in 1916, the 1918 directory listed David Marleau of Lalonde & Marleau, a hardware store located at 412-14 Phillips. Otto Kopitke, the secretary and treasurer of the Gettins-Kopitke Company resided here in 1921. | |||||
