The 1918 Polk City Directory listed Mary Reed, the widow of Charles Reed, as the resident at 2636 Scottwood.  The 1935 directory listed Vance Gray, an electrical engineer.  Mr. Gray's biography and photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 78.  His wife was Carrie (Ellinghouse) Gray.  Vance Gray was their son.
