2061 Robinwood was built in 1903. It became home for the Albert E. Overmyer family. Mr. Overmyer was the president and general manager of the Overmyer Company, grocers at 20-24 Huron Street, according to the 1910 Polk City Directory. The family employed a live-in domestic by the name of Marie Leinert. By 1921, Fred Douglass, a surgeon practicing at 421 Michigan, was the resident. | |||||
