2109 Robinwood was home to Edward Wehrle, a travel agent (salesman), according to the 1896 Polk City Directory. By 1900, Mr. Wehrle was the general manager of the Arbuckle Ryan Company. His son Charles Wehrle, a physician, boarded here along with Clarence Wehrle, a mechanical engineer. In 1900 the live-in domestic was Dora Meyers while in 1910 she was Hattie Nicholas. The 1921 city directory listed Fletcher Hull as the resident. He was the secretary and treasurer of the Hull Brothers Umbrella Company. Mr. Hull's wife was Marie (Hirsh) Hull. | |||||
