Designed by architect Edward Fallis and built for $12,000, the Walding House is reminiscent of early nineteenth century Greek Revival architecture. The 1900 Census listed the residents as William Walding, his wife Abby, and daughters Florence and Genevieve Walding. The family's live-in servants included Ireland-born Annie Cartey and Ohio-born Emma Taty. The house was demolished in 1973. | |||||
