2334 Maplewood Avenue
 

The 1900 Polk City Directory listed Ira Mason, a commission merchant at 231 Cherry, as the occupant of 2334 Maplewood.  Emily Clark, the widow of John Clark, roomed here in 1900, while Bertha Price was the Mason's live-in domestic.  Sarah Reed lived here in 1910. John Reed, a stenographer for the Milburn Wagon Company, boarded here in 1910.  Edward Speice, the sec-treas of the Boody Drug Company, was the occupant by 1921.  Also rooming  here in 1924 was Sarah Speice, the widow of Charles Speice.  The May 31, 1931 issue of the Toledo News-Bee featured a photograph of resident Julia Warner, a Scott H. S. senior, sitting in a car with three girls.
