As Collingwood's churches became commuter churches, the need for parking equaled Toledo's love with the automobile. This quaint house at 542 Virginia was one of four demolished along Virginia to build a surface parking lot in the late 1970s. Eugene Rheinfrank, an attorney-at-law, lived here in 1910. His biography appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 3 on page 651. His wife was Laura (Lamson) Rheinfrank. The 1918 and the 1921 city directories listed Samuel Dority as the occupant of this house. Mr. Dority was the president of the Citizens' Safe Deposit and Trust Company. | |||||
