The 1907, 1910, 1911, and 1912 Polk City Directory listed the resident of 356 Winthrop as Nicholas Eddy who was in lime sales. The house was coverted into flats in 1913 (#1906) with the plans being drawn up the architectural firm headed by George MIlls. The house was vacant in 1918 but was home to Stanley Sawyer, the president of Swigart Optical Company, in 1921. | |||||
