The home of Judge John and Alice (Skinner) Doyle at 1920 Parkwood was built in 1890 and demolished in 1945 to make way for Parkview Hospital, which has also been demolished. The mansion was designed by architect Fallis and built at a cost of $10,000. Judge Doyle's biiography and photograph appeared in Memoirs of Lucas County on page 203 and Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 48. Lena Galvin was the live-in domestic in 1896, while Verna Krupp was the maid in 1910. | |||||
