This 1915 photograph shows the attractive home of Gustav Lay and his wife Sophia (Sackmann). This duplex can be found at 2525 Parkwood Avenue. Mr. Lay was the vice-president of the Toledo Electric Sales Company. His biography and photograph may be viewed in Toledo & Lucas County Vol. 2 on page 516 and the Supplement on page 331. The other unit was occupied by Rudolph Adams, a salesman for flour and feed, according to both the 1918 and 1921 Polk City Directory. | |||||
