2104 Robinwood

2104 Robinwood was home to John Jones in 1896.  Mr. Jones was the secretary and treasurer that year for the Andrews-Jones Printing Company.  Mrs. Grace Spence was a boarded.   In 1900 the live-in domestics were Ella Bell and Nancy Ellis; and later was Emma Burkhardt.  By the time the 1910 Polk City Directory was published, the resident was Ernest Torgler of the Braun, Torgler & Co.  Both the 1918 and 1921 city directories listed Frances Barr, the widow of William Barr, as the occupant of this home.  In 1921 John Barr roomed here.  The home was clad in siding in 1972.
