3113 Scottwood
 
The 1900 Polk City Directory listed Charles Opperman who was the yard foreman of the Arbuckle-Ryan Company as the resident of 3113 Scottwood.  Mr. Opperman was the witness to a break-in at the Arbuckle-Ryan Company in 1903.  His story was recorded for history in the January 21, 1903 issue of the Toledo News-Bee.  James Smith, a bookkeeper, lived here in 1918 while Bertha Baker, the widow of H. Baker, was the occupant in 1921.  The other unit was home to William DeWolfe, a reporter for the News-Bee according to 1910, 1918 and 1921 city directories.
