The 1896 Polk City Directory listed John Peck as the resident of 2250 Scottwood. He was in the brick business. The 1900 Census listed Mr. Peck, his wife Flora and their children Arthur, Bertha and Howard Peck. Mr. Peck's brother-in-law Courtney Heath lived in his sister's home. The family had a 16 year-old servant by the name of Emma Bell. The 1900 and 1910 directories indicated that Mr. Peck sold real estate. The 1917 directory listed Walter Tousey. The 1920 Census indicated that Mr. Tousey, his wife Grace and child Caroline lived here with their Illinois-born domestic Minnie Geyer. | |||||
