This is a 1907 view of the Charles Stager home at 2210 Scottwood Avenue before its demolition for the construction of Ann Manor. Mr. Stager business, Charles Stager & Co., dealt in wholesale seeds. Resident Beatrice Stager was reported to have correctly answered the Rebus puzzle according to the September 19, 1900 issue of the Toledo News-Bee. The 1910 directory listed Edward Affleck as the resident. He was the vice-president of the Ohio Dairy Company. William Eells was Mr. Stager's houseman. The 1921 directory listed Lillian Spencer, the widow of Robert Spencer. | |||||
