Built around 1931, this home at 2933 Goddard was the residence by 1946 of Stephen Bond and his wife Grace. It was constructed on lot 8 of the Haughton Place subdivision. Mr. Bond was the manager of the Twentieth Century Oil Company, a refilling station located at 3627 Detroit Avenue. An earlier owner was Fred Baer according to the 1933 city directory. His occupation was not listed.
