The flats at 2820 Collingwood were home to many individuals including Willaim Walcott, a jeweler with Walcott & Kapp, who lived in the Christy Dwellings according to the 1910, 1918 and 1921 directories. Julius Dryfoose, a salesman and secretary of the Kaufmann Brothers, who lived in apartment #4 according to the 1910, 1918 and 1921 Polk city directories. Earl Dryfoose roomed here in 1918. In 1910 Edward Hopkins who was a naval architect lived here. Mr. Hopkins' biography and photograph appeared in Toledo & Lucas County Bol. 3 on page 288. His wife was Grace (Symington) Hopkins. | |||||
